## Available wherever you work

Selloff is software as a service: you open it in a web browser, with nothing to install or maintain. The interface adapts to desktop, tablet and smartphone, so staff can work from the office, the saleroom or the warehouse.

## Hosting

We manage the servers and the underlying infrastructure, so you can focus on your sales. Each client's data is kept separate from other clients' data. A dedicated server is available if you need one.

## Access control

- Every user signs in with their own account and a role that limits what they can see and do (see [users, roles & permissions](https://www.selloff.auction/features/users-permissions.md))
- Two-factor authentication can be enabled on each profile
- Users can review their active sessions and close them
- Repeated login attempts are throttled
- API keys are shown only once, and can be regenerated or disabled at any time

## Protecting financial records

Invoices with an applied payment or included in an accounting export are locked, exported accounting transactions cannot be modified, and bank transfers already sent cannot be changed. Optional confirmation of bids by a second user adds a further check on sale results.

### Where is Selloff hosted?

Selloff runs on servers managed by our team hosted in a Swiss data centre, with an isolated environment for each auction house. A dedicated server is available if you need one.

### Do I need to install anything?

No. Selloff runs in a web browser on desktop, tablet or smartphone. Only optional hardware, such as a Zebra label printer, needs a small driver on the computer that prints.

### Can other auction houses using Selloff see my data?

No. Each client's data is kept strictly separate from other clients' data, and within your house, access is limited by each user's role.
