## What the Drouot integration does

Drouot is the Paris auction marketplace; on drouot.com, auction houses publish their catalogues and take live and absentee bids online. Selloff connects to the Drouot API with the credentials provided by Drouot and covers the whole cycle of a sale published there.

## Before the sale

- **Catalogue export.** From the catalogue, choose **Export › Drouot file**. Selloff produces an XLSX file with lot references, numbers, catalogue order, descriptions, starting prices and estimates, ready to upload to Drouot.
- **Lot links.** Once Drouot has published the lots, click **Sync with Drouot** on the sale. Selloff fetches the drouot.com link of every lot and stores it as the lot's bidding link, which your website can display.
- **Registrations.** Import the bidders registered on Drouot for your sale. Each one is matched to an existing client or created as a new contact, and receives a bidder number.

## After the sale

Import the **Drouot results**: every lot adjudicated to a Drouot bidder is recorded as a sale at the hammer price, for the right bidder. The lots are then ready for [automatic invoicing](https://www.selloff.auction/features/automatic-invoicing.md), and the Drouot bidders appear in your [bidder tracking](https://www.selloff.auction/features/bidder-management.md) like everyone else.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which lot data goes into the Drouot export file?

The XLSX export contains, for each lot, your lot reference, the lot number and its letter suffix, the catalogue order, a description built from the title, description and first additional text, the starting price and the low and high estimates.

### How do bidders registered on Drouot get a bidder number in Selloff?

Import the Drouot registrations for the sale. Each registered bidder is matched to an existing client (by Drouot ID, then by email address) or created as a new contact, and receives a number from the Drouot bidder type. You can also choose to keep the number assigned by Drouot.
