## What the Quadra export does

Quadra is an accounting software package used by companies and accounting firms in France. Selloff keeps the detailed accounting of each sale (hammer prices, buyer's premium, commissions, fees, VAT and payments) and exports it in a CSV layout that Quadra imports, so entries do not have to be keyed in twice.

## How it works

1. Map your Selloff accounts to the account numbers used in Quadra, using the **export account number** where they differ.
2. In **Accounting › Exports**, Selloff lists the transactions not yet exported by period, currency and branch. Create an export for a branch, currency and date range.
3. Download the four files of the export in the Quadra format: buyer invoices, consignor invoices, supplier invoices and payments.

Each CSV line carries a journal code, folio, line number, date, account, label, due date, counterpart account, debit and credit. For payments, Selloff looks at the invoice being settled and picks the counterpart for buyers, consignors or suppliers accordingly. Files are written in UTF-8, with the column separator each user sets in their preferences.

Counterpart accounts are defined per branch and currency in the accounting settings. See also [accounting export](https://www.selloff.auction/features/accounting-export.md) and [consignor settlements](https://www.selloff.auction/features/consignor-settlements.md).

## Frequently asked questions

### Which columns does the Quadra export contain?

Each line has the journal code, folio, line number, date, account, account title, label, due date, counterpart account, operator code, debit and credit. The label combines the client number and name with the document number.

### Can the same transactions be exported twice?

No. Once a transaction is included in an export, it is marked as exported and can no longer be modified or exported again. The **Exports** page shows, for each period, currency and branch, how many transactions are still unexported, in export or already exported.
