What the WordPress integration does
Octoplus provides a WordPress plugin that connects your auction website to Selloff through the Selloff API. Your team keeps working in Selloff; the website displays the same data and sends clients' actions back to it. The plugin is configured in WordPress with your Selloff address and API key.
What your website can show
- Upcoming and past sales, catalogues and lot pages with photos, estimates and, after the sale, results.
- Search and category pages based on your Selloff taxonomies.
- Options set in Selloff, such as showing lot titles and tags, hover or fullscreen image zoom, or sold lots in fixed-price sales.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to copy my catalogue into WordPress?
No. The Selloff plugin reads lots, photos and results from the Selloff API when a page is displayed, so the website shows what is in Selloff. When lots change, Selloff can notify your site to clear its cache.
Can clients bid on my WordPress site?
Yes. Logged-in clients can leave written and bookmark lots. Bids go straight into the sale in Selloff, and a bidder number is created for the client if needed. For fixed-price sales, clients add lots to a cart and check out.
