Selloff 2.4 in review: invoicing, logistics, contacts and catalogues

Between December 2025 and August 2026, eight Selloff 2.4 releases reworked invoicing and payments, after-sale logistics, contact management and catalogue production. This recap groups the main changes by workflow.

Selloff 2.4.0 was released on 17 December 2025 and Selloff 2.4.7 on 24 August 2026. In between, eight releases touched almost every part of the auction cycle. This recap groups the main changes by workflow and links to the detailed release notes.

01

Invoicing and payments

  • Selloff 2.4.0

Rebuilt the invoice list and the invoice page, and added Bidders to invoice to create all buyer invoices of a sale in one step. Offsets, refunds and interest invoices arrived at the same time, together with a Swiss QR-bill per bank account.

  • Selloff 2.4.1

Made invoices more flexible: a lot can be sold outside an auction directly from an invoice, and invoices accept manual adjustments, percentage discounts and the EU reverse charge for B2B sales. Invoices and statements are now generated in the background.

  • Selloff 2.4.6

Rebuilt the accounting reports with date, branch and type filters.

  • Selloff 2.4.7

Added payments across several invoices and a new payment allocation screen.

02

Consignors and settlements

Since 2.4.0, consignor payouts can be added to an XML mass payment file for your e-banking, and the unsold lots of a receipt can be put into a new auction in one step. Consignor invoicing became faster in 2.4.2. The vendor commission can be corrected on sold lots until the consignor is paid (2.4.5), and consignment fees can be added to an invoice (2.4.6). In 2.4.7, certificate requests follow the lots that a buyer wants certified, from the request to the authority’s decision. See consignor settlements and e-banking payment transfers.

03

After the sale: returns, pickups and shipments

In 2.4.0, consignor returns, renounced lots, lots to prepare and lots ready for pickup each got their own list and documents, with barcode scanning to select lots and label printing on thermal printers. Shipments gained a choice of shipping address in 2.4.5 and fee rules based on the total hammer price in 2.4.6. See shipments.

04

Sales, bids and offers

Auctions can have several dates with times and a time zone, sessions are managed in one screen, and timed sales give each lot its own closing time, which can be extended manually since 2.4.6. Bid confirmations use a dedicated document per bid type, and results and registrations can be imported from Drouot, Auction Mobility and ATG. The offers review was rebuilt, and bidders who bookmarked lots can be notified before the auction starts. See sales and auction types and live auctions.

05

Catalogues and images

Lot export templates produce CSV, XLSX and XML files for sales platforms (2.4.0). The mass photo upload was rebuilt and catalogues can be merged (2.4.5), and categories can be ordered by drag and drop (2.4.7). See PDF catalogue generation and photo import.

06

Contacts, marketing and follow-up

Selloff 2.4.3 rebuilt the opportunities pipeline and added a task manager with reminders for due activities. Selloff 2.4.4 added contact imports, contact lists built from an advanced search and rebuilt email campaigns. Since 2.4.5, emails that could not be delivered are flagged in the activity feed, and since 2.4.6 a support widget lets you open a ticket without leaving Selloff. See opportunities, contact import and email campaigns.
